Project Description

A Craftsman Estate Landscape

This Craftsman estate dates back to the early days of Marin County, when it was used as a hunting lodge. Over the last one hundred plus years, it has been expanded and remodeled, yet maintains a rustic character and architectural integrity unique to Northern California.

The entry drive has been redefined with  provide much needed usable outdoor living spaces, and are designed to appear as though they were built with the estate. Amenities include a new pool house with an outdoor shower, a spa nestled behind a new fireplace for privacy, a barbecue, and a lanai at the end of the pool. All are built with hand-hewn stone and rustic timbers, providing exquisite attention to detail and craftsmanship befitting to the history and character of the estate. The design provides spaces for large gatherings, intimate parties, or solitude.
